What is the difference between valeting and detailing?
Valeting is thorough cleaning — the vehicle is washed, decontaminated where needed, the interior is cleaned and the finish is protected. It restores how a vehicle looks without changing the paint itself.
Detailing goes further. Machine polishing corrects the paint by removing a very fine layer to reduce swirls and light scratches, improving gloss and clarity, and the result is then protected. It takes longer and is quoted per vehicle.
